Prayer to St. Anthony

O Holy St. Anthony, gentlest of Saints, your love for God and Charity for His creatures, made you worthy, when on earth, to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your word, which you were ever ready to speak for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I emplore of you to obtain for me (request). The answer to my prayer may require a miracle, even so, you are the Saint of Miracles. O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the sweet Infant Jesus, who loved to be folded in your arms; and the gratitude of my heart will ever be yours. http://www.catholicwalton.com/prayer-to-st-anthony/

Mother And Child a Prayer

Lord Jesus Christ, when you embraced our nature in the womb of Mary, Your Mother, the first to greet You was the unborn child, John the Baptist. He danced for You, and You made him holy with the life of Your Spirit. Jesus, Lord and Saviour, protect the children of Ireland. May they never be evicted from that warm, safe place beneath a mother’s heart. Amen.

Prayer to St. Francis of Assisi

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace;  Where there is hatred, let me sow love;  Where there is injury, pardon;  Where there is doubt, faith;  Where there is despair, hope;  Where there is darkness, light;  And where there is sadness, joy.  O Divine Master, Grant that I may not so much seek To be consoled as to console;  To be understood, as to understand;  To be loved, as to love;  For it is in giving that we receive,  It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,  And it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.  Amen.

Prayer for Serenity

O God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time, enjoying one moment at a time. Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace. Taking, as he did, the sinful world as it is, not as I would have it. Trusting that he will make all things right if I surrender to His will; that I may be reasonably happy in this life, and supremely happy with Him forever.  https://www.catholic.org/prayers/prayer.php?p=2176
